In Trials, Trust Him

“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry, He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.” Psalms 40:1-2

There are times when the Lord would allow us to experience trials in order to make us strong. In those times of trials and temptations, we have to fully trust that the Lord will rescue us.

Salvation guarantees eternal life but not freedom from trials. As we move along we will be experiencing the tests of faith but they are those that strengthen our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The more we yield to Him in praise and worship, the more we will get closer to Him.

Let us desire that our faith in Jesus will increase more and more.

Find comfort in the words of Jesus, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

When Troubles Seem Near

“Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.”
Psalm 22:11

Life is pretty tough at times especially when one is confronted with its complexities and its necessities.

It’s like a pressure is placed on each side: whether to conform to the enticement of the world or to stick to the promises of God in the Bible.

At times the anxiety brought about by trying to meet the every day needs and concerns, is overwhelming.

They say, life is not easy.

But find comfort in this, when trouble seems near Jesus is closer still. He knows what you are going through. He understands every feeling, every fear, every weakness, every struggle. And He is ready to help you if only you ask Him too.

Put your Trust in the Lord

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13 (NIV)

With the recent calamities and unwanted circumstances, we have to put our trust in the Lord.

God knows better. His ways are higher than ours and so are His thoughts, higher than our thoughts. He sees beyond the panorama of man.

It is in trusting God that we find joy and peace. He is our only hope in a seemingly hopeless situation.

Trust in God’s love today!

In Christ there is no rejection

“All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.”
John 6:37

Rejection can affect one’s outlook in life. Sometimes it is difficult to deal with, hence, the need to be accepted.

We do not want to be rejected, we want to be accepted so we try to change our lifestyle just to fit in with the current trend and latest fad.

The Bible tells us that if we come to Jesus, He will never drive us away. The good news is, we do not have to change anything. He accepts us the way we are.

Do you feel rejected? Jesus said, “Come to me…I will never reject you.”

In Christ there is no rejection.

God said: Be still, I will fight for you

“Therefore, stop being afraid! You are worth more than many sparrows.”
(Matt. 10:31, One New Man Bible)

We are to stand strong in our faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ. We shouldn’t be afraid of those who attack us because of what we believe in. “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but they are not able to kill eternal life (v.28).”

God takes care of the sparrows, how much more will He take care of us? Our value is worth more than the birds. God promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us. When we are into battle, He said, “Be still, I will fight for you!”

We don’t need to be afraid after all!

The perfect time is in God’s hands

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
Ecc. 3:1 (KJV)

God’s time is always the perfect time. He has everything planned even before the world began. If you are experiencing setbacks or delays don’t lose hope, don’t give up because the Lord is working beautiful things in you that will be revealed in God’s appointed time.

All your days are ordained by the Lord and as long as you trust His ways, you will see that all things work together for good.

Is it a setback? Is it a delay? Do you feel that you are left behind? Cheer up! Everything is under control for time is in God’s hands. He makes all things beautiful in His perfect time.
